With my artwork, I search for connection to the raw expression of mortality and confront it with a smile and a bit of playful dark humor.
I am interested in working with art that also works with me, utilizing happy accidents, natural magic, and interpretation to guide my decisions in creating art that only finds itself at it's completion.
I aim to find the outlets for my work to have greater outreach and continue to entertain it's viewers through mixed media, fashion applications, and through creative collaborations.
I have had a great time and met many amazing people where I have applied my collective artistic skills.
In late 2013 Seth Mannino moved from the gloom and doom of Seattle Washington to Florida's bright, tropical, and nauseatingly vacationist vibe in the Tampa Bay Area. Seth brought his skeleton art with him and started his own business selling his dark art in the Sunshine State. Seth's goal, to create smiles from the famously dark image of death.
Drawing at an early age, Seth was always interested in many forms of art, post high school he earned a certificate of film making at The Seattle Film Institute. Over the years he has dabbled in creative writing, sculpting, puppet creation, loud music, costuming and special effects makeup for live performance and film.
Seth Mannino became more exclusively involved in painting after he was invited to participate in shows at galleries in Seattle during 2011. The response was so positive at these gallery shows, it solidified Seth Mannino's journey as a painter.
His artwork can be found in local breweries and galleries in the Tampa Bay Area, The Shambles restaurant in Seattle, somewhere in Osaka Japan, and also logos for several Tampa area companies.
